Jacqueline Harvey’s spy series, Kensy and Max was released in 2018 to great acclaim, thrilling young readers with drama, action and loads of fun. The first book, Kensy and Max: Breaking News was voted at number 25 on the Dymocks Top 51 Children’s Books and number 5 on the Better Reading Kids’ Top 50 Children’s Books in 2018. She has already followed up with three more titles, Disappearing Act, Undercover and Out of Sight (September 2019) and there are no plans to stop there.
Jacqueline has received numerous short-listings and awards while her picture book, The Sound of the Sea was a CBCA Honour Book. A highly experienced teacher and presenter, she has delivered thousands of talks and workshops for children and adults at schools and festivals around the world and is now one of the country’s most popular authors for children, having sold over a million copies of her Alice-Miranda and Clementine Rose series in Australia alone. Her books have been translated into numerous languages and are available in over 80 countries. The first four Kensy and Max titles will be published in the United States in 2020.
Alice-Miranda is being made into an 80-minute animated movie by SLR Productions in partnership with Screen Australia, ZDF Enterprises and Channel Nine and will air in 2019. She is currently working on new adventures for Alice-Miranda, Clementine Rose and Kensy and Max.
