I have developed a practical hands-on lesson that explores all the beautifully different art creation methods. The aim is to break down barriers for those who put their hand up to the question on the very first slide. “Hands up if you don’t think you’re very good at drawing?”
Teachers and kids all draw deliberately messy stick figures using our left hand; we make up creatures utilising the kid’s wild imaginations and delve into some of the techniques I use to create the art in my two latest books, Backyard Buddies and The Balloon Blow Up.
